I was informed today that I should consider censoring my blog. "Censor? Why censor it? I'm not going to censor my writing. I haven't even written anything too controversial" I said. At first, Josh was using the excuse that all my posts were "girly." If you want to stick with that word to describe my posts, fine. I admit it, my posts are girly. So sue me! I'm a girl, what do you want?

However, this "girly" word was later turned into the word "slutty." Are my post slutty? Are there people out there so uptight that they find my discussion about hotness scales and prom dates to be indecent or lewd? I hope not...but probably.

"Emily, maybe you should make your post like you were talking to the old women of your church." Hey, I know my church, and I know that what I have written on this blog would be perfectly fine to say to the women there. Apperently Josh has been receiving some emails saying something to the affect of "Whoever that Emoney girl is has dull posts. Her posts make her seem slutty." (If that email is from a guy the next sentence is probably "Is she a slut, and if so, can I have her number?")

Hey, personally, I do not feel that anything I have ever said (err, written) on this blog has been immodest. If I come off in a good or bad light, that is completely up to the reader. Secondly, Josh invited me to help him with his blog. He can uninvite me if he wants; I can stop blogging if I want. However, he though that a blog with both of us would be fun for us, as well as entertaining for readers. When I took him up on his invitation, I was agreeing with him.

Why censor a blog? This blog is at my modestly level. If your modestly level doesn't agree with mine, don't read this blog. Or, don't read the pink entries. No one is making you read. If you have a problem with an entry of mine, don't email Josh, my email address (mazurmuse@bellsouth.net) is on my profile along with AIM screen name (emonee87).

Point is, I write on this blog because it is fun. If I am asked to leave this blog I will, but there is nothing stopping me from creating my own. I will write what I feel is appropriate. I would never write anything to purposefully hurt someone, and I hope I have not done that. Truthfully, I hope I don't give off a slutty tone in my writing. I don't consider myself to be trashy, and I hope no one else sees me in that light.

Now, people have probably found this post slutty/trashy (probably because I was forced to use those words so much).
