The Coolness Factor
While Surfing the endless number of blogs the last few days I notice some have music, some have pictures, others have music videos, which you should be hearing right now. (scroll to the bottom to see the video). So I'm implementing a new system to get you the reader involved.(that and it keeps me from slacking my duties) So every Week we will have a "Video of the Week" in which you the reader decides what it is. Here's the criteria for the V.O.W
* Go to www.MusicVideoCodes.com
* Select a band and a song
* Copy the code and send it to me Via-Email
* The listen in every Monday to see if your song was chosen

ok dear, somehow on your first shot you managed to choose a song that is one of my very favourite, if not my single-most favourite. I do not know how you did it, and it is actually quite creepy...but yes...I absolutely adore this song. I will however, be happy to try to find another one just so that later down the road i can say "I chose that! look at me!"...haha

While I find this to be an interesting and good idea...I have RoadRunner and yet your site is still coming up much slower due to the videos. Just thought I'd bring that to your attention.
Hmmm...I would def. have to disagree with the title of "The coolness factor." One thing, I can't stand blogs that have music on them, unless it is a band's blog...and b/c i'm generally already listening to music to begin with. Secondly...the whole thing of you making people get involved in your blog is a little sad, b/c the purpose of a blog is to express YOURSELF, not to let others do it for you, and to me it seems like you are making it more of a everyone get involved in making my blog b/c i am not creative enough to do it myself, and b/c emily makes me look bad, because she expresses herself, and doesn't get everyone to make her blog for her, or to express herself for her. Not to slam you, but you really should think of this stuff....it would make your blog more interesting and not like...ohh look there is music on here...which is distracting..and takes away from getting to know you through your words...it needs to be more like..ohh wow...look at this topic, i want to get to know more about him. Take this comment as some constructive critisim.
Josh, my pet peeve is music on blogs simply because it is a nuisance. I am either already listening to music as I just quick check blogs, or I am truly trying to read the content of the blog and I don't want to be distracted. Taking that extra time to search the site to make the music stop is annoying.
Lazy...that's me.
And, please, start using spelling/grammar check. It is driving me crazy.
